My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dax is currently located in TEXAS. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down here, so she is willing to move north for a good loving forever home.

Dax was rescued from a fast kill animal control facility. She appears to be a Cirneco dell'Etna mix and she has just turned 3 months old. We have her listed as a Italian Greyhound because Cirneco dell'Etna is not on the Adopt-A-Pet list of breeds. Cirneco dell'Etna is a small Italian hound, so Italian Greyhound is close.

Dax is a healthy, happy, active and playful puppy. She is spunky and still a puppy that will need training and further socialization. Dax is crate trained and paper trained. Dax is small and must be protected from rough treatment by children or big dogs that could hurt her. She must also be protected from outdoor predators and large raptors that would consider her dinner. Dax must be in the house as a loved member of the family. She must be walked on a leash and would like a secure fenced yard to run and play.

Dax is spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated. She has been started on heartworm and flea preventative. Dax has a $500.00 adoption fee that includes ground transport to Warren NJ, Allentown PA, or Nanuet NY.
