Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Winston is a 10 yo Newfoundland/lab mix. We picked him up at a shelter in GA after he was abandoned in a kennel. They said he would live about another year or so because he had heartworms. That was 6 years ago! He beat the heart worms! Winston needs a forever home right now because his doggo friend recently turned on him. They can no longer live in the same house, through no fault of Winston’s. It’s a tragic situation. But we hope that these circumstances will open the door to a new family who can welcome Winston in to their hearts and home.
A perfect day in Winston’s life: wake up with you, go outside to potty, prance around while you do your morning routine. Nap from about 8am-5pm, and then greet you when you get home from work. He likes to have cheese sprinkled on his breakfast and dinner but doesn’t really get excited about toys. He loves to be nearby to the people when they’re home, go on short walks and sniff all the trees, but is really a couch potato at heart.
