Maizy is a very sweet 2 1/2 year old female Schnauzer. She has cataracts and can't see very well so she needs to have cataract surgery. Maizy is up to date on her vaccines and she has been heart worm tested and microchipped. She is a very sweet girl. She just needs a chance! Maizy's owner must be willing to take her through a basic dog obedience class and provide proof of completion within four months of the adoption. If you would like to be considered to adopt Maizy, you must first apply. Then please contact linda@schnauzerrescue.net. Rescue Schnauzers usually weigh between 15-25 pounds, they are up to date on shots, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered prior to placement. We make reasonable efforts to evaluate the health and temperament of each dog, however we cannot make any guarantees. We are not a shelter and do not have a central facility. All dogs are kept in foster homes located throughout the area we cover.
PLEASE NOTE: We rescue schnauzers in Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC and southern Pennsylvania. We can only accept applications within a reasonable driving distance of our areas of coverage. Please read the list at the top of the on-line application to see if you are in our area.
