My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Starship, she is an approximately 4 month old spayed female Yellow Lab that is looking for her new home. She was adopted for a short period of time and her family made the difficult decision to return her to the rescue after their work schedule changed, leaving them away from the house for long periods of time. Although we are sad that she was returned, we are very thankful they thought about what was right for her and their family and contacted us to let us know.

Starship is busy busy busy and will need an active family with a yard to help her burn off the incessant amount of energy that she has. She is great with kids and other dogs and is a wonderful companion. She still needs some work with walking on leash. She goes from sitting in one spot and refusing to walk to dragging you down the street happily wagging her tail. She is crate trained and sleeps quietly in her crate all night...as long as it is in a quiet room with no activity, like a laundry room or spare bedroom. If she is in the same room as you while she is in her crate she will often whine or bark for attention. We have not had as much problems with the barking if she is exercised enough, several times a day.

This puppy is a diamond in the rough. She is a wonderful, playful and fun loving dog that will make a great addition to anyone's home as long as she gets the exercise and guidance that a labrador puppy craves. Her adoption fee is $250 plus a $10.99 microchip registration fee. She is spayed, chipped, dewormed, vaccinated and started on heart worm prevention.
