Up for adoption in Texas and New England: Sierra.

Sierra is a super smart, playful and beautiful 6.5 month old puppy. She weighs about 37lbs.

Her coat is just gorgeous, it feels and looks like a mink!

She is very sweet and affectionate, especially in morning. She loves back and belly rubs. She also loves taking walks and sitting beside you or on floor near you wherever you are.

Yet Sierra is also independent, not often a lap dog.

Brilliantly, she will crate herself when she's tired. She can let out an "I'm tired grumble" and just puts herself to bed like an overtired kid. And perfectly, she's not a big barker. She likes to just sit outside and observe.

Her fosters taught her to ring a bell when she has to go potty, how cool is that? So she's housebroken.

She knows "sit" and she's friendly, great with new people, good with dogs. Sierra is very strong but gentle. We think she would fit well with active adults or older children.

Sierra still has some puppy like habits, like chewing, counter surfing and she jumps up-- all things we are working on her with, but things you'd expect from a puppy. That's why we'd recommend older kids only for her, not young ones.

She would do super well in a puppy training class-- and if you've never been they're SO much fun and so interesting. We highly recommend positive reinforcement training classes for the dogs.
