My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm called BEN and I'm about 2 yrs old. I'm very quiet and easy going. I look sad in my photos but, it's just that I really don't like having my picture taken. I love the folks who come to walk me in the morning and I love everyone here. I'm easy to live with and don't make a lot of noise or cause any trouble. I'm the perfect man...yes, there are a few of us left! I'm a big boy and love as much attention as you can give me. I don't mind cats and get along with most dogs. I just want to be loved...is that so bad. The holidays are coming. I hope someone will write Santa and ask him to find me a home.

Note: Great Pyrenees are considered a Giant Breed. Average weight can be 100lbs. or more. They bark, shed and have a wanderlust, so secure fences are a must have. They are NOT off leash dogs and a Pyr off leash is called a "dis'a'Pyr". Some Pyrs do well with other dogs and some don't because by the virtue of their breed traits they were bred to keep out intruders and can consider some dogs as intruders. While they make wonderful pets and family dogs, they aren't for everyone so be sure to understand and learn about the breed traits of this breed or any breed you might be considering.
