Meet Cookie! Cookie is a five year old, 82 lb pit mix who came to ARC (Animal Resource Center) as an owner surrender when his former person was sadly no longer able to keep him due to their declining health and a change in living situation. Cookie was certainly cared for before and is hoping to find a new friend to care for him again!

Cookie has soft brown fur mottled with slightly darker brown speckles- much like a chocolate chip cookie! His unique coloring coupled with his husky build, oddly petite ears, and goofy grin are sure to warm your heart!

Cookie is just as sweet on the inside as he is on the outside! He loves people and has a gentle and friendly nature. He’s very in tune to the emotions of others and will strive to make you smile if he senses you’re feeling blue. If you show this boy that you care for him he will care for you right back!

Cookie enjoys going for walks and receiving pets. Cookie also, of course, enjoys cookies. He will work for them, certainly, and knows how to sit and lay down! Although he wouldn’t object to a free one anytime you feel the need to share! After all, sharing is caring — and that’s what friends are for!

Cookie is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and has had a blood parasite screening.
