Hi! I'm Bonnie, an Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd mix! I am about a year old & a total sweetheart! I was rescued by Midwest Canine Connection with my brother from a flea market in very bad condition. I'm a very shy girl with a great personality when I have another dog friend. I'm very gentle & easy going. I'd be a REALLY good fit for a family with another dog. My adoption fee is $300, this includes my microchip, neuter, deworming, flea and tick preventative, bordetella vaccine, DAPPv (distemper), and a veterinary exam. DISCLAIMER: Bonnie is a very sweet dog however we think she was severely abused as a puppy & as a result, she is extremely scared of people. This doesn't mean she attacks or flee's, she just seems to shut down. However, she opens up with another dog or several very quickly. She will require a very friendly & patient owner. With enough time, we feel that she can get better, but probabbly won't be fully trusting of people due to the severity of her abuse as a puppy. Please don't let this deter you from meeting her. She is very calm & docile, just afraid & will need lots of love to change her heart.

Our process: We do not have a central facility, we rely on a network of foster homes to house our animals. In order to meet a pet, an application MUST be filled out, reviewed and approved, PRIOR to meeting a dog. Due to us being a volunteer run organization, please allow us up to 24 hours to respond.
