My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ruby is looking for her forever home. She is a 5-6 year old, 15 pound Pomeranian. She has three legs as one needed to be amputated after she was hit by a car. She gets around like she has all four! Ruby has a mild heart murmur but doesn’t not need medication and it does not affect her. Please note Ruby needs guidance and rules in place or she will try to be the boss. Here is an excerpt from her foster home:
“Ruby is a complete sweetheart. She loves her people and gets attached quickly. Ruby is most comfortable with small dogs or cats, she would also be ok with a calm larger dog but that would take her some time to get used to. She tends to initially be nervous of big dogs. She loves kids over age 5 who are dog savvy. She sleeps all night in a kennel and does not bark. She is house trained and never has accidents, loves her walks and outdoor time. She knows basic commands, and if she lets out a little growl and foster mom tells her to stop, she listens. She is currently not allowed on the couch or beds, as she can become possessive of her person if she is allowed up to cuddle. She does much better on the floor with the kids and all our dogs. She is still working on being ok with strangers entering the home. She will bark and get herself wound up.” Jennsfurryfriendsrescue.org/adopt
