My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mindy came to us originally from a kill shelter in the Houston Texas, area. She has been in a foster home learning her house manners and how to be part of a family. Her foster mom has this to say about Mindy:

Mindy is very, very sweet. She loves kids and gets along with other dogs AND cats. She is house trained and crate trained. If crated, she needs to be in a plastic crate – she will flip over a wire crate and crawl out from the holes at bottom of crate. She is not at all one of those dogs that will sit in her crate and cry. She just gives you that sad look and lays down.

Mindy loves to sleep with her humans and she will curl up against your chest to go to sleep. Mindy loves to give kisses – she is a kissing fool! She does not know when to stop giving kisses! :)

She likes her toys, her blanket and treats. She is good on a leash and loves to ride in the car. She is a very low key dog and hardly ever barks. She loves to be cradled like a baby in her blanket.
She is a people dog - very loyal and wants to be with you most of the time. She also likes to play with tennis balls. Hot dogs are her favorite treat before bed time. She is a great little dog that strives for love and attention.
