A stray that came to the shelter heavily matted, Mako was fully shaved and his soft curly hair coat is now growing back nicely. Mako is an eleven-year-young male Poodle Mix weighing 13 pounds who is now ready for his forever home.

This spunky canine must be drinking the elixir of life. Mako is excited to be outdoors for a nice walk on his leash. Mako also plays happily with his toys. Afterward he enjoys cuddling in your lap and giving kisses to his humans. Mako rides nicely in the car, is house trained and would prefer to be the only pet in his forever home. The Coronado Animal Care Facility is open 9:00-11:30am and 12:30-4:00pm daily, except major holidays. It is located at 1395 First Street, at the south end of the Ferry Landing complex.

If you are interested in an adoption, you must first complete a dog adoption application and meet with a PAWS of Coronado dog adoption counselor.
