Ok folks, listen up. This dog is a real find. Zeus is a GORGEOUS white and black male German Shepherd. He is young, (to the point that his ears are still working their way up into the standing position), very loving, very gentle, and very distinguished looking. Despite the fact that he has somehow landed in this shelter, he is taking it all in stride with poise and finesse.
Back in my younger days, my breed of choice was the German Shepherd. If I were still able to handle these big guys, I would snatch this fantastic boy up in a heartbeat.

The animals at the shelter have five days to find a home. The Humane Society of Cherokee County, Inc., is the rescue and adoption agent for this shelter. We are trying to save as many animals as possible from this shelter by adoption. The $75 adoption fee includes all rabies, DHPP and bordatella vaccinations, spay or neuter, microchip, and heartworm test.

We are very rescue-friendly and will work with reputable rescuers to get these animals to safety. Thank you for helping us to save the life of a homeless, unwanted, and soon to be killed, shelter animal!
