Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Apollo is still looking for his forever family. This boy turned a year old on April 24th, but he spent at least nine months of his first year in a 10’ x 10’ kennel with his brother, with no affection or real human contact.
He came to foster with an experienced Doberman owner and foster after his first birthday. He’s had a lot of puppyhood experiences during these last four months and has become a great dog.
Apollo is wearing the red collar in the photos and his foster family can attest to his socialization with an 11-year-old female, a 7-year-old red male, an 8-year-old cat and young foster sister, Kisses. He’s learned to share bones, toys, dog beds and line up at chow time. He rides well in a vehicle and has been introduced to horses (he ignored them).
Apollo has responded well to men, women and older children. He’s still a big puppy and everything is a new adventure!
