Mickey is yet another heartbreaking case. Poor Mickey was surrendered at the high kill shelter by his owner for no good reason. At age 8, he was in terrible shape: infected teeth and a huge amount of kidney stones that nearly killed him. Due to our efforts and the great loving care of his foster mom, he is now fully recovered and a very happy, sweet doggie. He's a little on the shy side but he relaxes pretty fast and then won't leave your side. He loves to be with his human at all times. He's very chill and enjoys sniffing all the plants on his short daily walks. Mickey is very friendly to dogs, cats and respectful kids. He's just an overall sweet, gentle boy.
