My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chewy was recently found laying in the middle of the road when animal control came and picked him up. While he awaited his owner, who never claimed him to pick him up, he suffered from a terrible skin infection, ear infection, a head and chest cold, lost hair on his tail and back and nails so long you questioned how he could walk. He is only 95 pounds. Since then, he is now being medically treated under our rescue. This poor baby is now on the road to recovery. We have learned from his first vet visit that he has cherry eye in both eyes, and Entropion, which makes it very difficult for him to see and nearly blind. When walking on the leash he does excellent as long as his head can touch your leg.

 He is now in his foster home and doing great. We have discovered from the vet that Chewy suffers from a over active thyroid however,  he is also being treated for it by taking two pills a day with food. They run $15 for a three month supply He has also been treated  for heart worm, a staph infection and ear infection. Other than that he is doing great and loves being in a home with other dogs. He has the sweetest manners and loves going on gentle walks.
