Meet LIBBY!!

Libby is estimated to be 4-5 years old, and about 9 pounds or so. She looks to be a purebred Dachshund but may be a mix with strong doxie genes.

Libby was found as a stray, and no one came forward to claim her, so she was brought into the Lytle facility a few weeks ago.

Libby is the perfect dog companion. She is sweet, loves her people, and isn't high energy, or high maintenance. She is relatively quiet except for a few whines if she is crated and wants your attention. Libby would make a wonderful companion for a single or retired person. She gets along with other dogs beautifully. She does very well in a crate orherwise, and does her potty business outside if kept on a regular schedule.

Libby is heartworm negative, current on vaccinations and flea and heartworm preventive, and is micro-chipped. She comes with a health certificate to travel.

Libby's preferred home has a secure fenced in yard (no wireless or electric please), a calmer, less activity level home, and no children under 5.

Libby is currently in a foster home in San Antonio TX and can be transported to your area once adopted. All adopters must meet requirements.

Libby is available through the City of Lytle Animal Care and Control. Her adoption fee is $185, and transport fee to the East coast via Rescue Road Trips is $185. Transport runs every 2 weeks and fills up fast.
