Jessie is 8 years old and she needs a new home. Our daughter is disabled and can no longer care for her. Jessie is a wonderful dog. She is current on everything and very healthy. She is sweet and well behaved. She is spayed and taking her heartworm prevention meds. I can say that she is low-maintenance and a great companion. She gets exercise running in the yard. She can be calm and just lay around next to me all day, or when there is someone to play with she is very happy to be active as well. She has never met another animal she doesn’t like. She knows how to adjust her behavior to play gently with a small puppy, leave another dog alone if they don’t want to interact, or play tug-of-war with big dogs 3 times her size! To whoever adopts Jessie, I would like to give them a letter with everything I know about my baby. I adopted her at 7 weeks old & she has been a very loyal and loving companion. She deserves a great family that will love her and I promise she will bring joy to their lives as well. I also have Jessie’s crate, bed, blanket, special toys and treats, and most of all, her “baby” - the little stuffed moose that she walks around with once every night, whimpering until I call her over, take it, love on it and give it back.
A home visit and good vet reference are mandatory to adopt Jessie. Her adopter must have a securely fenced yard. Jessie needs to be an indoor dog.
