My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Axel (8.2 lbs, 3 1/2 months old) is a tiny bundle of love! He has adjusted extremely well to his foster home surroundings, although his confidence may be bolstered a bit since his brother is being fostered here as well. Axel’s legs may be short, but this boy loves to run! He has a lot of puppy energy, but also loves to be held and provides endless kisses. He is a bit timid with the other dogs in the house, but that hasn’t slowed him at all when it comes to exploring his surroundings. Axel already realizes that outside is where he is supposed to do his business, and slept all night in the crate without a peep.

Update: Axel is doing well! He has a definite love of chewing, and has needed correction (which he responds well to) when his chewing object of choice is my hand or fingers. Axel is on a strict house training schedule, and because of this he is accident free inside the house! He is warming up very well to the other dogs in the house since his initial shyness, even playing and running with them a bit.

UPDATE: Axel is a sweet, affectionate, loving puppy, and loves to be held like a baby over your right shoulder. Axel’s favorite toy in the house is a stuffed chipmunk, and he carries it everywhere! He has been sleeping a full 9 hours at night without a sound or any accidents - what a good boy! He had a bath today and stood still the entire time…so proud of him. All this amazing puppy needs now is a forever home!
