My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Pepper, although my foster mom calls me Wee One. I weigh 8 pounds and I just had my 10th birthday.

My first mom decided she couldn’t take care of me when I got sick about a month ago, so she took me to a vet and that’s when Schnauzer Rescue Cincinnati stepped in. I had never seen a doggy dentist before, and I needed to be sure I would never have puppies. All of that was taken care of, and I am remembering what it is like to run and play.

I have a precious, squeaky bark that I save for saying hi to my foster mom when she comes home from work. I LOVE the fenced back yard – so many good smells! I get all tangled up when I’m on a leash. My favorite thing is to sit in your lap, after I have followed you all around the house.

Pepper is house and crate trained, ignores the cat and other dogs. As she only has two remaining teeth, she eats soft food. She would be happiest in a fenced yard.

Pepper is fostered by Gail. Her adoption fee is only $250.00
