My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:


We adopted Attayha from KC Pet Project 2/15/2015 and have loved her from day one. My husband and I have separated. He cannot take her with him. Now that I am down to one income, I cannot afford to give her the care she needs and deserves. She needs her shots and to be groomed. She needs more attention than I can give her, working full time and taking care of two kids, plus caring for my disabled mother. It makes me sick to think of rehoming her, but I think it is what is best for her.

She’s a very sweet dog. So patient and gentle with our kids. She does like to be ornery and sneak food from the table if it’s left in her reach, but that is the only complaint I have ever had about her. (But who wouldn’t want to sneak some food?!) She loves to cuddle and be brushed.

I’d love to see her go to a family with land, but that’s absolutely not a requirement. Just someone who can love her, provide financially, and snuggle her.
