Meet Patsie. A beautiful darling Shih Tzu / Poodle mix. She was picked up by animal control as a stray so we have no history. It is hard to believe that anyone would not be frantic if they lost this sweetheart but she went unclaimed. Patsie arrived at the Safehouse on 08/29/2018. A friendly, well-mannered 13 pound sweetheart, with a luxuriously soft non-shedding white and tan coat, maybe 3 years old, quiet and sociable but a bit shy, Patsie is amazing. She tries to please and desperately wants human companionship and love. Patsie does not like crates or confinement. Frantic for closeness, she wants to be near you, to sleep in the same room, even the same bed. A playful, tail wagging bundle of fun; she enjoys the company of people and other small dogs. She loves running in the great outdoors, napping on soft pillows and belly rubs. Patsie appears to be housetrained but will need time and help adjusting to your household and schedule. This wonderful little dog is full of life and ready for an active family (no couch potatoes need apply) but one with older respectful school-age children would be most welcome. Patsie needs a family that has the energy to keep up with an active young dog that will need daily athletic walks and lively playtimes. This very special little dog is a marvelous family pet with years of loving companionship to offer her forever family. She is looking for a home and a family that will love her, hold her, and appreciate the gratitude of a rescued pet who wants nothing more from life then to have a home of her own and a caregiver who will welcome the unlimited companionship and devotion she was born to provide. Patsie is healthy, spayed, has a microchip, is current on all vaccines, heartworm and flea/tick preventative, and has had a complete physical and dental. Her adoption fee us $350.
