My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Well, hello there! My name is Bianca, and I'm a gorgeous, sweet, adaptable, loving, and lovable fluffy torbie (dilute tortoiseshell-tabby) Maine Coon/ domestic medium hair mix gal who was born in January 2012. I have a huge plume of a tail, giant green eyes, and soft, silky fur. I'm basically a soft brown tabby with a few orange tabby splashes and a few white markings. I'm a delightful, lovely sight for sore eyes, if I do say so myself.
I'm an affectionate girl who is the happiest when I am right next to you or in your lap. That's because I adore being petted and given love. I like to situate myself close to you to make sure that you can clearly hear how loud my purr motor is.
I adapted easily to new surroundings when I arrived at my foster home. I get along great with the other foster cats and am very calm around the big, cat-friendly dog. Basically, I'm pretty laid-back. I haven't been tested around kids, but Maine Coon mixes are usually very patient around children.
I was originally found as a year-old teenager in a parking lot when Buster's Friends rescued me off the dangerous streets. What a relief because a hardscrabble life of dumpster-diving for my next meal was no life for a gorgeous diva like me. I was adopted fairly quickly and enjoyed a wonderful life for a few years with my human, but recently she had to surrender me back to Buster's Friends. I was sad, but I'm not letting it get me down that I'm back to square one in needing a forever home. I'm sure there's someone or a family out there who will be captured by my stunning good looks and sad story so they will jump at the chance to meet me. I hope that's YOU because I'm anxious to crawl up in your lap so that you can test the decibels of my purr motor, which incidentally sounds like a perking coffeepot!
Bianca is updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for her indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted. Her adoption fee is $100, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends. Please click the contact button if you are interested in Bianca, and we can let you know exactly where you can meet her.
