Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mia is a beautiful 3 year old Lab/Pit mix. She is a local surrender that we have been asked to assist with due to a family member developing allergies. One of our volunteers recently met with Mia, she is such a happy girl with so much love to give.
Mia weighs around 60 lbs, does well with children of all ages and has previously lived with small breed dogs without any issue, she has no prior history of living with cats. With proper introductions she may work fine in a family with other dogs but she would be just as happy being an only too. Mia has lots of energy and needs a home that will want to give her lots of exercise, she would love to explore New England with some hikes and adventures!
We feel a confident leader who can give Mia a refresher on some basic obedience and manners will help her and also be a great bonding experience for both her and her new family. Mia does not require to be crated when left home alone and she loves to go for car rides! If you are looking for a loving, active bigger girl then this one could be just the match for you!
If you are interested in meeting Mia or any of our sweeties, please fill out the adoption application. Please note, we do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout New England. It is our expecation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
