Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi there! I know I’m handsome, I can’t help it. My name is Woody and I am a 7-8 year old Basset Fox Hound mix. I was adopted back in 2012 when I was about 1-2 years old. My owners recently were forced to moved and I don’t fit into my their life anymore. Lots of renovating and no more back yard to play in, makes me a sad boy. I’m with the same foster family I was with before I was adopted and they are going to make sure I find a good forever home. I am a gentleman and would love to have a playmate as I love mouth wrestling. I love attention, but I won't beg for it. I would like a fully fenced in yard to run around again.
I love food, and my foster family is working on my manners, so I'm not taking it out of people’s hands without their go ahead. I take treats gently and I'm the sweetest boy you will ever meet. I love food time and have trouble sitting still while I wait for my foster mom to prepare my wet and dry food mixed together.
I don't need to be crated when you are gone for work. However, please make sure the garbage is secured tightly and dog proof, because I do like to play in it. I work really well as a heated blanket at night. I don't move much and only snore quietly. I tend to gravitate towards men, but do like woman... Oh, I LOVE KIDS!
Can I be your main man!?!? You won’t be sorry! Love Woody!
A note from his foster mom: Woody is perfect on a leash and loves walks. He still will run out the door given the chance (as all hounds do). Woody got a full check up after he was returned. He had an uti that was treated and he has fully recovered.
Woody is spay/neutered, microchipped, current on vaccines, heartworm tested and on prevention. Adoption fee for Woody is $275. If you are interested in adopting Woody, please fill out an adoption application http://www.furgetusnotrescue.org/application.html .
