My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BACKGROUND: Our sweet McCormick was rescued from a local kill shelter where he was on the pre-euthanization list. He came in as a stray with another Boston Terrier, Saylor. McCormick is probably 95% Boston with a little bit of something else mixed in, and although we do not usually take in mixes, we didn't have the heart to take Saylor and leave McCormick behind to be put to sleep. McCormick has had surgery for bilateral "cherry eyes," and subsequently developed a perineal hernia. His hernia surgery was successful, and he is doing well post-op. McCormick is a sweet, handsome boy with a rare fawn coloring for a Boston. Now that he's all "fixed up," McCormick is just waiting for his new wonderful forever home! While McCormick seems to do well with dogs his own size, he is not a fan of large dogs.

ADOPTION INFO: McCormicks's adoption fee is $350.00, which includes a physical exam, vaccinations, neuter, heartworm test, deworming and any other care received while in rescue. If you would like to adopt McCormick, please complete an application on our website at: www.houstonbostonrescue.org
