Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sami deserves to live out the 2nd half of her life in a quiet home filled with love and affection! If you're willing to give her that and the patience she needs to become your constant companion, then she's the one for you!
Sami was rescued from a local shelter after being dumped by a breeder. We think she is between 7 - 9 years of age and weighs 7 1/2 lbs. Sami is a quiet dog who enjoys lazy days and nights. She's happy to lay in her doggie bed and nap the day away, follow her foster around the house or sun in the foster's backyard. Sami doesn't show much interest in toys or balls. She is slow to trust and a bit fearful when she first meets you. Can only imagine the loneliness and absence of human contact she has had in the 1st half of her life? She's learning to enjoy what it's like to be held, scratched and have her belly rubbed. Once she gets to know you, her tail wags continually. She doesn't mind being carried around. She does well in the car and has gone on a long 3hr ride without a problem. Sami gets along well with other dogs. She has spent her life in a small cage and had no training of any kind. After getting her teeth cleaned and a few pulled, she is much happier. She is chipped, up to date on shots and was given a clean bill of health by our vet. She will be going in for her spay on November 1st and be available for adoption on November 4th.
