Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Wolfie is a laid back male about 7 years of age.He is neutered, up to date, and on preventatives. He rides quietly in the car. He came in Lymes and Erichlicia positive and is on antibiotics until the end of the month to resolve this.
He is great with chickens but he is NOT an Livestock Guardian Dog. He would love to hang out with you but would also be good with your chickens being lose around him. A Family Farm Dog is more his style. He will be adoptable by the mid November. He is great with small children and the elderly as he is so gentle.

Great Pyrenees are known for their barking as they were bred to be Livestock Guardians. HOWEVER, a dog not raised around farm animals does not automatically become an Livestock Guardian. They are trained from birth to do that job. If you need a working dog you should contact a reputable breeder for a trained dog. Find breeders at Great Pyrenees Club of America www.gpcaonline.org
