Here's what the humans have to say about me:
* COURTESY POST FOR INDEPENDENT TRAPPER/FOSTER/ADOPTER:
Emily was found dumped like trash by an uncaring human at a local Walmart. She was in unfamiliar territory, didn’t know how to find food, she was hiding & scared to death in the garden center which was the only place she could find shelter. Emily was left in a strange environment with no food or water to fend for herself as a young kitty.
Emily is very sweet and shy at first until she knows you will love her forever and never leave her or abandon her in a strange environment. She learned at a very young age that people can be extremely cruel. After she was trapped and shown that she would be loved, have food in her belly and given time to “come out of her shell”, she realized that she could trust people again.
Emily has become very playful and she is good with older children who are not loud and quick. She does not show well at adoptions with all the noise of dogs, kids, shopping carts, loud speakers and more (which resembles the garden center she was dumped in). She gets scared and hides with her nose in the corner until someone is petting her. We would prefer to do a private adoption so she is not afraid and you can see her beautiful, loving personality.
Our cats have all been trapped & rescued from the streets. We make sure that they will always be loved and never enter a shelter environment. If you think that Emily would be safe and loved in your home, then we would love for you to meet her. You won't be disappointed when you see just how much she has blossomed and how beautiful her spirit is and how much love she has to give. Please consider giving her a chance in your home and help us save more lives like Emily’s. Show your support for TNR (Trap.Neuter.Return.) and learn why we do what we do and how it impacts all of the community cats we come across. We are trying to prevent future Emily’s from the same fate as hers and trying to change their fate forever....for the better!
Please contact us to set up a meet & greet or please share her with someone you think would love to have Emily in their life. Thank you for looking at our super grateful munchkins and helping us to further our cause. Sterilize...Don’t Euthanize! Thank you!
