My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is AARON. He was saved from Broward County Animal Care with just hours to spare. The shelter mislabeled his behavior and decided to end his life. He was completely misunderstood because he is an AMAZING DOG that does well with other dogs and would make a LOVING FAMILY PET!

The shelter sent out a 72 hour notice that if he was not rescued or adopted he would be "At Risk due to deteriorating behavior and/or have become a safety concern for staff or the public. Friends of Broward County Animal Care & Adoption and The Freckles Freedom Fund stepped in to SAVE HIS LIFE.

We developed a program to evaluate these "At Risk" dogs and get them out of the shelter and into a more stable environment where they could thrive and be rehabilitated. AARON IS OUR FIRST GRADUATE OF THE PROGRAM.

In order to make this program work, we need rescues or adopters to step up and help us. The only way we are going to save these neglected and abandoned dogs is by working together.

Aaron is available for adoption or rescue with foster. Additional sessions with Through the Leash Dog Behavior & Training are included and sponsored. PLEASE HELP US HELP THE MISUNDERSTOOD!
