Here's what the humans have to say about me:
The Basics:
Rue, Male, 3 lbs, Currently 9 weeks. My mom is a Chihuahua mix and none of us have a clue about my dad. Like my brother, Dill, I'm a wiry guy but I have the cutest wisps right on top of my head. Think Chihuahua/Terrier/Snuffleupagus mix.
About Me:
My mom was found as a stray, extremely pregnant, wandering the streets with a Mastiff friend. Both were picked up by Animal Control and taken to the shelter to keep them safe until they could be rescued. Thanks to my awesome human foster mom, my siblings and I were born into a loving home instead of on the streets. Psst. Don't worry, Mr. Mastiff friend was rescued too. If I was one of the seven dwarfs, I would be "Sleepy" because I looooooove to nap! I will snooze anywhere and everywhere at a moment's notice. When I’m awake though, I'm brave and outgoing and I spent a good portion of my photoshoot pawing playfully at the photographer and also clumsily falling over my own paws. My foster mom says I can be the protector of the group (someone has to look out for everyone) but I can be won over easily with an invitation to snuggle.
Gotta Be Honest:
My siblings and I stayed with our mom a full 9 weeks and my foster mom has been very dedicated to having us meet lots of people so we are well-rounded, confident puppies. Even still, my new family should be committed to continuing my socialization and training so I can grow up to be a friendly, affectionate, outgoing guy. Right now I'm in my puppy pen at night and when my foster mom is away, so I should make an easy transition to crate training. Since I'm so little, I haven't started my official housebreaking but I'm starting to figure out the whole pee pad routine. As you can imagine, almost everyone and everything is bigger than me, so I should share my forever home with savvy kiddos and gentle (but playful) animal friends.
