Hi there,

My name is Banks and I am a 3 year old boy miniature schnauzer who weighs about 16 lbs. You might want to grab a tissue when you read my story...sad; but true.

I was abandoned a couple weeks ago along with four brothers. Luckily, there was someone who witnessed this so he immediately picked us all up and took us to the nearest shelter.
When our story came out, we were all claimed by different rescues. Two of us, myself and brother Linus, were accepted by Schnauzer Rescue Cincinnati.

I had a grooming, vet check and dental all within a week.....wow....so much attention I was not used to! After that I was placed in a foster home in Cincinnati. I have three schnauzer brothers and two sisters there and love them all.

I know steps and can fly up and down them in a wink. Car trips are so much fun...in fact so many things I now experience make me happy. Because I am so young and love to run, I need my forever home to have a physical fenced yard.

Also, this is important because I have not learned how to walk on the leash yet. My foster mom is working on that; but I think it is a big game and don't take it seriously No worries though, I am young and smart, so I will learn.

There are many toys here to play with; but by far, my favorite is my yellow squeaker duckie....it goes everywhere with me!
