Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi my name is Eloise and I am a 1 year old, 48lb Irish Wolfhound/Poodle mix. I found myself stuck in a shelter in Oklahoma because I was lost and wandering the streets. The shelter workers thought I must have had a home at one time because my coat was clean and I looked healthy, but as hard as they tried to find my owner, nobody came forward to claim me. Thankfully a wonderful rescue stepped up and decided to pull me out of that scary shelter and take me in. I am now the happiest girl ever living in a foster home where I am getting a lot of love and care. My foster mom is amazing! She spends lots of time with me working on my house manners and basic obedience training. I live with 7 other dogs and just want to play play play with them all day long! I am crate trained and almost house trained. I love all people and although I am not living with any children in my foster home, I know I will love them. I will be the perfect medium sized adult so can fit nicely into almost any home!
My ideal home would include another playful doggie sibling as that is what I love to do most! And some human siblings I could run and play with in the backyard would be great too although I think I would do best with kids older than 8 until I have mastered "no jumping"! And of course I just want to be loved on. I promise I will keep working on my training in the meantime, but I am really looking forward to my forever home. I know I can bring so much happiness to my new family!
I am still in my foster home in OK, but my bags are packed and we are making our way North in a week! I am ready for my forever home and family. If you are interested in adopting me, please email darcy@asecondchanceforziva.com or submit your application via our website www.asecondchanceforziva.org
