I adopted Stella from a family who couldn't keep her four years ago, as a companion for my husband who was house bound. For two years, they spent every moment together. Since his passing, she has gone to work with me everyday, sleeping under my desk. She loves people and does not do well when left alone, remaining hyper-alert and pacing. She fears other dogs and won't relax around them. She is about 13 yrs old, and even though she has poor eyesight (about 30%), she still runs at top speed and jumps like a puppy when it's time to eat. Her favorite thing to do is run for treats, go for a short walk & sniff, and nap in her crate in the car (in cool weather). She doesn't bark and has never attempted to bite. She has been extra anxious lately, sensing changes at home and has had a few accidents in the house, not wanting leave my side for fear of being left behind. She seems to gravitate a little more towards men and needs someone who can provide a steady routine and tons of loving attention
