My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Happy Jack is just as his name states, a very happy boy! He is about 3 years old and weighs just under 50 pounds. Happy Jack found himself in a shelter after being left behind when his family moved away. He is now safe in the care of CPR. Happy Jack is a playful, goofy boy who is ready to explore and be loved. He is gentle and just wants to please his people. He is a very good listener, well behaved in the car, and walks well on a leash. He dearly loves going out for adventures and will make a great running buddy. If Happy Jack sounds like he would be a happy addition to your home apply today at cprdogs.com.

This dog will be ready to leave our care in time for CPR's Triple Event Weekend! CPR will be at PetSmart in Meriden on both Friday April 19th & Saturday April 20th. Friday’s event will be from 2-6pm and Saturday’s event is from 10-2pm. There is no event this Sunday for the Easter holiday. PRE-APPROVAL is REQUIRED to bring home a pup from SUNDAY'S event. You can apply while you are there, but the application will not be processed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event!

The adoption fee is $450 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee. This dog tested positive for heartworms and has been treated in our care.

If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between noon and 2pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.

TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back.

After receipt of your application an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.
