Wisconsin applications are priority, but Illinois applications will be considered if no small children are present in the home, the home is owned, and excellent vet reference can be provided. We cannot process applications from other states.
Hello. My name is Tensley (Wolf). I am from Texas. My Momma found herself pregnant and alone. She took a chance and approached a human to ask for help. She is very brave because people have hurt her and neglected her. She did it for me and my brothers and sisters. We made it here to Wisconsin and my Momma is relieved. Please make her dreams come true and give me (and my siblings) a home with a family who will love us.
I really like playing with my furry foster brothers and the kids who live in my foster home. I also like tug of war and I don’t give up even if my furry foster brother tries to tell me that I have to. My foster mom says that she likes how I’m happy to meet everyone with a wagging tail. My two legged foster brothers have shown me lots of their cool toys and one of my favorites is their tunnel. They think I could be a really good at agility! I also like to steal their socks and run and hide with them. I will definitely keep you on your toes. I’m currently medium energy but I’d probably need a daily run when I grow up especially if I have any herding breeds in my ancestry. I would really like a fenced yard to play with my fur sibling. A family who is home often is also a must because I’m still a baby and prefer not to be in my kennel for more than a couple hours at a time. I can be sensitive and don’t like loud cars but I’m doing very well learning to walk on a leash. I especially like walking through fields or wooded paths on my leash. I don’t know what breed my mom or dad are but that’s okay because what’s most important is that I know I’m a happy and smart puppy who will be happy with a family who keeps me healthy and safe just like my momma did. I also don’t know if my ears will end up going up or down because every day they do something different.
Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once
approved a meet and greet with the dog. Please note that preference is given to adopters in
Wisconsin, but Illinois adoptions will be considered. will be considered. Adoption fee is $250.
