Emery is a 7 year old neutered male who came into the shelter on 9/15 as a stray.

NOVEMBER - Emery is very playful. He has a great time ripping up soft toys and plenty of energy to bounce around the playlots. He has a tendency to jump up when he’s excited and sometimes can get a little grabby when he wants you to play with him. Emery is very treat motivated. He’ll sit for treats…sometimes. Mostly he’ll just dig in your bag or pocket and try to pick them out himself.

SEPTEMBER - Emery’s body may look weathered but his spirit is young and thriving. When I approached his kennel he was at the front wagging his tail, waiting to get some outside time. He wobbles very well on the leash and is definitely house broken. He’s a very happy guy that likes to be as close as you will let him. I’m all about lap dogs no matter the size, so Emery backed his booty right up. He had no issues with handling, even allowing a full inspection of paws and teeth. Emery knows sit and takes treats well. He was mildly interested in toys but prefers playing with other dogs. He was exceptionally cute during his leash test, check out the video!
