Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ernest is a Beagle/Jack Russell Terrier Mix. He is Tri Colored. Ernest is 1 Year Old. He is neutered and up to date on his shots. He weighs around 18 lbs.
Ernest is a unique looking happy boy! He just loves being around people and getting all their attention! Ernest is a very happy doggie who just wants you to know that's he's excited to see you and wags his tail to let you know. If your busy working around the house he'll follow you and then sit down beside you and watch you work and wait. Then if Ernest gets sleepy he'll just wander over and curl up on a dog bed and take a nap until he see's you walk towards him and then he's up again waiting for your love. When he's outside he's off to do his business and then he goes to play. He loves to run around the yard sniffing things and playing with a ball with the other dogs. When it's time to come back inside he runs right back in with the pack of dogs and then goes on looking for a comfy dog bed to take a nap in or looks to see if it's movie time. During the night he spends his time sprawled out on his dog bed snuggling with the other dogs. Ernest just wants a family to call his own so he can happily greet them every day and spend the evening getting hugs and playing outside.
Ernest would do well in any household. He adores everyone he meets and always is wagging his tail greeting you. He loves to play with kids and is just the right temperament for younger children to play with. He loves being around other dogs, so if his new home has a doggie pal he can play and snuggle with, he'd love it even more! He loves to ride in the car and go places with you and is excellent on the leash, and enjoys taking walks whenever you have time to take him. He loves being around a family but does very well being left alone and will greet you as soon as you walk through the door with his tail wagging waiting to give you a kiss!
Ernest is not aggressive with other dogs, she has been with small, large, young and old dogs.
At the rescue we require dogs to be kept indoors. There is a $95 adoption fee for puppies, and a $85 adoption fee for Adult/Senior Dogs.
