Dodge is a young (born approx 12.19.16) neutered male Akita. He is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm negative, on flea/heartworm prevention, house trained, crate trained, and leash trained.

Dodge was surrendered to the Newport News, VA shelter in May and then adopted in June. The family brought him back to the Newport News shelter in August because they are moving out of the country.

Dodge is a SUPER sweet, friendly young male whose only catch is that he is not good for going to the vet or having his nails clipped. He has lived with cats and has a lot of fun in daycare. He needs a home with no children under 12 years old.
