Hi there my name is Gertie! My foster family and everyone who has met me say that I am the most adorable little girl they have ever met! My foster mom says I'm a miracle! I was rescued from a high kill shelter in Georgia... I was extremely sick and when I first saw the vet they recommended I be put to sleep. My foster mom and Rescue wouldn't hear of it. They ordered lots of tests and went to extreme measures to save my life. I couldn't of asked for better! Thanks to their love and wonderful veterinary care I'm doing awesome and I've never been happier! Thanks to Boxer Rescue VT I'm all better, rehabilitated, housebroken, socialized, happy & i'm looking for a forever home to treat me like the princess that I have blossomed into! Yes, princess Girtie! That's me! My foster mom isn't really sure what breed I am, I might be dachshund x Chihuahua with maybe a touch of beagle ... but I can tell you one thing I'm 100% adorable and anyone who is approved to adopt me would be the luckiest person in the world because I am the best! (that's what my foster family tells me all day long)!
