My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet George, the gorgeous gray fella. We were calling him Gorgeous when we found him on the street, but then we decided a gentleman of his caliber deserves a more proper name. George is a doll, simply put! He practically rescued himself--walked right up to us, let us pick him up and slide him into a carrier. We are pretty sure based on what neighbors told us that George's family just put him outside one day (shudder!), and every time we saw him he was parked in front of that building, waiting for his family. We couldn't take it anymore and brought George inside! He has settled right in. George adores cuddling next to you--and sometimes ON you, and snuggling in soft blankets. George is the only cat in his foster home and seems happy to get all the human attention, but he would probably be ok in a home with other friendly cats because he was hanging around another community cat when we saw him outside. The vet says George is in tip-top health and young--between 1 and 3 years old. If you are as taken with gorgeous George as we are, that gray coat and exotic face, please come meet him in his Harlem foster home!
