This is Odin, a very cute pup who looks like a combination between a Frenchi and a Pitty - with stand up ears! He is a little over one year old and weighs about 70 lbs. Words like gentle and super affectionate describe Odin and there’s nothing he likes better than attention and long belly rubs! In fact, he thinks he is a lap dog and has no idea that not everyone agrees!
Odin is looking for a new family because some of his present family members are not dog lovers and do not want him in their home. A young man purchased him as a puppy, knowing that Odin might not be accepted. Since Odin moved in the tension in the home has been building daily and the young man is forced now to say good-bye to his beloved pet. All the young people in the family desperately want Odin to go to a home where he will be loved by everyone!
Odin is very friendly with people and loves to play with other dogs - although he can be a little bit scared of small dogs sometimes! He has a medium energy level and tires out fairly quickly but he is up for a couple of good walks everyday and a good game of fetch with his ball. Like most other big dogs, Odin is at his best when he is getting enough exercise. He’s had puppy classes and would be happy to learn more and meet new friends.
With his outgoing personality and tail-wagging eagerness to welcome guests, he is a total failure as a watch dog. He makes an excellent ambassador, showing the true gentle and friendly nature, of his breed. He is a gentle dog who is eager to please his people and he does not respond well to harsh or unkind treatment. He thrives on consistency, positive reinforcement and lots of love. This sensitive guy is a lover not a fighter!
Odin is adorable with his crooked tail and huge big happy smile! He would love to be welcomed into a family and be included in family activities like going for car rides, taking walks or sitting at home watching TV. He doesn’t ask for much except to be loved and cared for. If you love this breed and have room in your heart for him he will repay you with loyalty and devotion.
Odin is housetrained, neutered, tattooed and vaccinated.
