My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Female
1.5 yrs old
31 lbs
Border Collie/springer spaniel mix

Glass half full girl seeks like minded individual(s) for a lifetime of adventure and snuggles! I'm not going to beat around the bush here, I'm a happy pup who is fun and energetic.

I'm also athletic, I love to run and play and I'm an excellent jumper! My foster family was nice enough to let me practice on these cool 3ft gates... I'm really good at them!

I'm pretty smart and I could probably run an obstacle course with some solid training. I am housebroken and will politely sit by the door when I need to "stretch my legs". Being in my crate is not my favorite place, but I am getting better at being comfortable in there.

I love to meet new people and dog friends. I would love to live with another dog brother/sister or kiddo who loves to play! My foster home has dogs bigger than I am, cats and a 4 yr old boy, I love playing with everyone!

I am very curious about the cats, they're strange and they smell funny. If they run, I do enjoy chasing them but I can also share the couch with them for a nap.

After all, a girl like me needs to nap and cuddle as hard as I work and play! OK, mostly play... You got me! Ha!

If you think you're the match for me, please fill out an application so we can see if we would make a great team!

Please consider becoming a foster home while you search for your new best friend. We need foster homes - pounds are overflowing with puppies and adult dogs that are at-risk and need help. We can only rescue as many as we have foster home commitments. Fostering is a rewarding experience for your family.
