Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Snoopy
UPDATE: Snoopy had a short adoption, but the apartment was a bit small and the lady who had him adopted let us know that he is house trained, good with cats and dogs. Plays well at the dog park and comes back when called. Originally she wanted to take him with her to work, but the company changed their policy suddenly. Good with kids as well :)
Snoopy was adopted out at a very young age.
Out of the blue we got a call from an other Shelter that Snoopy was turned in to be terminated. Thank god for micro chipping they contacted us and we picked him up and he is now back up for adoption.
It turns out that Snoopy, a pointer, wanted to do some exploring on his own. This is what happens with a dog left alone too long in a yard. This baby got bored and wanted to fix it. We are trying to say, you will need a privacy fence for this baby for sure. Snoopy is a loving boy. He may have been subject to some abuse, since he is cowering a bit when the hand is lifted too high. All in all this very adoptable sweet dog will love you forever. Snoopy would make a GREAT jogging or walking partner.
Ark Rescue dogs are available for adoption to homes in the Alabama and Tennessee Valley area only. We do require a secure fenced-in yard to adopt our larger dogs.
