Loving Lucy. The queen of her castle....
This beautiful girl is a pure Peke who around Lucy is between 5 and 6 year old. Her hobbies include, napping in the sun, snuggling with her foster family, and being doted on. Lucy is currently being fostered as an only dog, but she does get along with other dogs. She can be a bit bossy-typical of the breed- so she should be with a submissive dog. Lucy will not be placed in a home with children under 16 years old

As with the Pekinese breed she has a combination of regal dignity, intelligence and self-importance make for a good natured, opinionated and affectionate companion to those who have earned its respect.

Her coat is a long, coarse-textured, straight, stand-off outer coat, with thick, soft undercoat. The coat forms a noticeable mane on the neck and shoulder area with the coat on the remainder of the body somewhat shorter in length. She will require regular brushing and or regular grooming as she as a double coated dog and her coat should not be shaved as it can damage the undercoat. She enjoys being brushed.

My adoption fee is $300, which covers the cost of routine vetting, rabies and distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, spay/neuter surgery, heartworm testing, my microchip, monthly heartworm prevention, monthly flea/tick prevention, and any transport costs if applicable.
