Hola! Me llamo Encanta! I am a very beautiful and stout lady who was surrendered to Chicago Animal Care and Control because the new apartment my previous family was staying at didn't allow bully breeds. Can you believe it, because I sure can't. Even with all the moving around I've done so far, I have a calm and sweet disposition through it all. My rescuers say anyone would be lucky to share a home with me and they are on the search for the most perfect one!
If you aren't familiar with Spanish, my name means "love" or "enchanting" and boy, is that fitting for a lovey little gal like me! I adore humans! Although I have only been around adults so far, I have lived with children in my previous home and am very gentle. I am great about sitting for attention and keeping "four on the floor" as they say. I am currently in a foster home with three other large dogs and I really enjoy hanging with the pack! I have not shown any resource guarding tendencies and I love to play with any dog that will let me. I also REALLY enjoy playing "tug" and "fetch" with my people. I am an active girl first thing in the morning and to stretch my legs and get the zoomies out, but after a walk around the block and some breakfast, I would love to just snooze the day away. When I do go on walks, I am great on leash and do my best to stay right with you. I love to follow my foster parents all around the house and lay at their feet or snuggle on the couch so close you will think I'm part of you. I just love affection, what can I say?! My friends at Canines & Company think I may be mixed with some sort of bulldog because of my "low-rider" body type and "piggy-like" snorts and say it only adds to my charm. They think I'm pretty freakin' cute -- do you agree?
