My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ellie is the sweetest and most loving King Charles Cavalier Spaniel. She is three and a half years old and has been healthy and happy. She is very shy (common to her breed) but, once she feels "safe" is friendly and cuddly. The only reason that we are parting with her is because I have MS and am no longer able to walk Ellie and play with her as much as she needs. My husband commutes and often needs to travel, making her care increasingly difficult for me. Ellie has become chubby over the past year because of that, but there is no doubt that she will get back to a healthier weight if she can get more activity. Ellie has gone to the same kennel when we have gone out of town and has been adaptable and happy so I think she will transition well. Ellie just needs a home where she can be cherished by owners and well loved by her new family.
