She was found by the managers of my apartment complex; they thought she might have been from our community, but after a day-long email campaign to locate her owners, no one had responded. So, I offered to take her in. She's a very curious and energetic cat with a strong 'mouser' instinct. She loves to chase and fetch stuffed mice, chase shoe laces, and play in running water (yes - in). She is excellent about using the cat box and has not gone outside of it.
While she will play by herself some, she needs a lot of dynamic interaction to stay busy. She really wants to be at the center of someone's attention and gets frustrated and annoyed when she isn't (more so than a typical cat). She is prone to being destructive and disruptive when she gets bored or frustrated. Personally, I think indoor/outdoor is ideal so she could expend a lot of her energy playing with bugs, grass, etc. -- there would always be something catching her interest and inside-time would be more restful.
