My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Valerie is still in New Orleans with our rescue but can easily be transported up to Lisbon, Ct using Rescue Road Trips. She is spayed, vaccinated, wormed, treated for heartworms and microchipped. She is truly one of the sweetest and happiest dogs I have ever met. She was found as a stray off of I 12 in rural Louisiana. She will make a wonderful pet for any family. She is fine with kids and other dogs. I have not tested her with cats. She is house trained, rides well in a car and is a total love bug. She is totally vetted except for Lyme vaccines because we don't do them down here. Please email me at loozianabassetrescue@gmail.com for more information. Her adoption fee is $200 and the fee to transport her to Lisbon, CT is $185. We check vet references and do home visits prior to an adoption. We require that our dogs be on monthly year round heartworm prevention.
UPDATE for May 1, 2019: Valerie just completed Basic Obedience Training.
