This smart and playful cutie is looking for his forever home!
Stormy is a young male Siberian Husky who is looking for a home that can provide him with the structure, exercise and love he needs!
He is a friendly dog, and rather affectionate for an independent husky! He is extra playful but is a respectful, yet dominant, playmate for other dogs. He also loves fetch or just chasing anything he can. He walks really well with his training tool and with more training, would be perfect on a regular leash and collar as well.
He is not create-trained but is respectful of your belongings as long as he has had enough mental/physical exercise, otherwise he can get into things he shouldn’t. Stormy would benefit from an adopter who would be willing to spend time with a trainer to help overcome some resource/food guarding behaviours that he has. Someone with experience in dealing with this type of behaviour would be ideal.
His perfect home would be an active couple or individual with the time and energy to put into walking/running/playing with him to provide him with the mental and physical stimulation he needs to be a happy and loving boy. A fenced in yard would be ideal, as well.
He is a super smart cookie and will benefit from someone who can be a firm and strong leader (and of course give lots of cuddles and pets)! He knows all the basic commands and will pick up new ones quickly.
