My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

7 year old Hero's human companion could no longer take care of him, so, now Hero needs to find a Hero of his own. This dog is GREAT. We just can't say enough good things about him. He is totally housebroken, can use a dog door, gets along with every living thing he's seen here, loves people, is heartworm, lymes, ehrlichia NEGATIVE, and his core vaccines have been brought current. Hero is a bit overweight - and we are working on that - - - - - it is particularly important as Hero had surgery as a young dog for hip dysplasia, so carrying extra weight is not a good idea. Hero is NOT crippled, and he needs exercise just like any other dog, but it is our belief that rough housing with kids or other dogs should probably be avoided. He would love long walks and to play with toys, though.
